Carlingford Heritage Centre
Located in the Medieval village of Carlingford and run by the local heritage committee, the heritage centre acts as a museum for the area offering visitors an understanding of the history of the Cooley Peninsula and working to promote the area.
The Centre also operates as a venue for the village running events such as conferences, concerts and even weddings and civil ceremonies.
While discussing the goals and objectives our customers had for thier website we settled on some key areas to focus our efforts on.
Firstly and fore-mostly they wanted the website to help raise awareness of their work in the community and to provide their visitors with the latest news and information on the works been undertaken.
Another goal of the new design was to help promote their functions, concerts, presentations and events and offer their guests a online booking function.
As we set about building the website, we kept a few key focuses in mind
- To promote and tie back to their work in genealogy and recording the history of the village.
- To offer guests a online booking system to purchase tickets for the regularly held concerts and events.
- To help attract more potential clients towards using the centre as a venue for the next functions
